I just had someone try and phish my PP account info. Check out this mail.

Now, we've all seen these crappy e-mails before, but the "click here to activate" button was linked to http://americanlegalhelpnow.com/paypal.com.

If thats not bad enough, I whois'd the domain and its not even guarded. All his info is out there in the open. Whats next, people sending me snail mail PP phishing letters with their actual address on a mailing sticker? I just found it amusing.

the actual phisher probably doens't own the domain. they most likely just hacked into the shitty server that domain is hosted on and set up a parasite phishing site.

Indeed, didn't think about that. I've never received such a crappy attempt before and automatically assumed it was a retard.

Still, I wonder how many people they actually get with that crap now adays. I'm no phisher, but I was wise to it back in the good ol AOL 3.0 days.

its good to see paypal can't spell eather. well I guess it is run by Egay. does make a bit of sence, they probably weren't happy with the word "Click" having two "c's" in it so they banned one of them.

That is pretty pathetic, and whats even more is that you know somebody will fall for it.
