I used to tell my friend I was gonna play madden for the night on ps2 and he would always say to me "Are they paying you to play?" Lol, it kinda grew on me and I haven't touched a game system in over 2 years :D

Now if they would make a sword for RGP games would be great.

It looks fantastic ofcourse but I can't help but think of at least 100 different bugs and hickups the system will have in its first stages.

The exercise is a good point though, I would definitely take a jog in Skyrim each morning.

They reached their goal of $150k in ... 3.5 hours - that should hint you 're a bit off in your assumptions.

It's a pretty cool idea, though how do you duck?

I can't agree on one thing though, a true virtual reality experience would work something like a lucid dream. You're body would be stationary (sitting, laying, whatever) while your mind would be within the game. It would suck if you got stuck though... lol

You could be walking on mars with the rover, litera...virtually.

Starting to get why this is a cool idea yet?

You raise a good point. However, there's always different sorts of gamers. Hardcore Counterstrike players probably won't play on the wii as much.
I think there could be a market for this product but it's not going to be huge. If it were then why haven't giants like Microsoft, Playstation or even Logitech developed something similar for the mainstream market?

The problem is that this is going to be buggy as fuck when it comes out. The shoes don't fit well, the glasses hurt or drop when you sweat, there's a delay between the machine and the software, the platform wears out and you loose grip, the runspace is too short for tall people, the equipment breaks or tears after a period of time. I could go on and on. And then there's the price. Would you pay $250 for this? How likely is it you'll use it more than 20 times? Good thing they fold up and you can put them under your bed with your tellsell gym equipment lol.

A cool idea, but i prefer reality. The real thing.

If i want to walk the streets of Paris, i will go there. I can see the appeal for gamers, but other than that this technology does nothing for me.
