I see poeples who are earning $1000 per month from playing WoW...do they sell gold or something else?
1k wow classic gold worth 20-30 bucks

I am a WoW Player since 2007 but stopped in the last two years, I am interested in knowing how people do make money and is it only in the official WoW or also the private servers because I am a LK player

Yes they do sell gold, or if you have a great group you can run raids, or boosts.

My friends were doing Freehold boosting (5-10k per level).
There are groups that do Mythic for gold and mounts (people either pay in-game or cash ).

Im away from the Time Leech for a long time, but as @Stewielenor said, you can run raids or boost other players. Or, the most expensive way and time-consuming is Twinking which requires some investment and nobody knows when it will be gone.

As i can see in CWoW there are alot of Twink guys that you can follow and master.

But, in the end of the day doing things solo is hard. You better get a group and start boosting.

Do they earn good money? I think its better for tier3 countries

inflation sucks but currently 500k = € 50.

boosting takes about 1 hours (10 level) with a good demon hunter Giving you are asking 8k per level you earn 80k = € 8
per hour.

raids earn better

last boss only kill is 80k and takes about 4 minutes. you pay the team of 5 (5k each) (25k total) per kill and bank the remaining 65k (€6.5 per kill)

I have past experience in this market. My advice is to not do it, At least, Not with wow. The market is packed, it's viciously competitive and the profits are slim to none anymore. In order to do well, you must scale ridiculously high, for which there is a reason china owns the majority of this market. If you just want some spare pocket change every month sure set up a single bot and farm (or sell mythic runs etc). Otherwise, it's not the empire you think it is.. Not anymore

I do have some advice on where to look though. New MMO's that come out. Amazon's New world mmo has been spectacular in the closed alpha for which i am apart, And with Amazon's lack of experience in the mmo market, it's going to be prime for this sort of thing. There are a lot of other mmo's coming out or have released recently that you should look into as well.

Edit: I forgot an entire niche you could potentially look into and that is wow private servers such as ascension wow. These are locked down very tight though so are tough. This could potentially reach out to other game private servers as well.
