I started IM as a way to earn some extra cash for things like paintballs, video games, etc. I set up a clickbank campaign and I would just check up occasionally. (I used Yahoo answers back when it worked much better) The money would just transfer into my bank account and I would just spend it without thinking about how much I have earned, I literally logged into my account about 3 times. So I checked my ClickBank account...

I've spent almost fucking 800 dollars on useless shit! how do I even do this? I didn't even realize I was spending this much! I earned this all early in 2014 and I spent it all really quickly somehow, I don't even know what I spent it on!
Anyway, I made a thread about this in very early 2014 about how I was excited about making money on ClickBank but I didn't realize how much I had made.

    Shit...

*edit* Just realized I have a thread on the lounge about how I don't care about money. I don't care all that much about cash but when I blow 800 bucks on some shit I don't even know about it's kind of annoying.

Time for some self reflection bud. You have great potential if you changed your aim.
If you can make that much cash just wanting to buy some paint-balls then what could
you do if you invested that money and created a solid business model?

So start writing down every purchase you make so you can go back and learn what to
cut out from your expenditures. I knew a guy who literally spent $200 a week just on
eating fast food for lunch instead of packing a lunch. (Way before I went online)

I always thought to myself....really? Let's see $800 a month is enough cash to about
make an apartment payment in a lot of areas of America. I be damned if I spend it
on prefabricated food and sugar water.

Start charting your course and you will do fine. :)

$800 spent on fun, nothing wrong if you ask me. Do you remember not enjoying them? :)

You don't care about cash, you just care about how to get it & what you buy with it like the rest of us. Therefor you care about cash or spending it wouldn't bother you.

Take a look at how much you earn monthly and write down a limit on how much you can freely spend. That budget is decided on how much you want to save or re-invest.

Create an excel spreadsheet. Keep all your money in your bank. Record all your earnings, expenses, withdrawals from atm in it. I used to be like you and sometimes even used to forget if I owe money to anyone or if they owe something to me but since I started recording everything, I have started to manage my money in a lot more efficient way.

When I was young, I'd blow my whole paycheck every week on clothes and other fashion items. It was sooo much fun. Ah, the old old days before a house, kids, and bills came along.

800 dollars over the course of a year doesn't sound that bad.
