would you do this on a 100% legit local website, i have a client that i do SEO for and am looking to give his rankings a push, i have never done Black hat for any
of my clients as i dont think it would be the right thing to do.

What would you do in this situation?
I have create 10 web 2.0s in tier one with 50 hand written articles spread throughout on them.

Tier two i am looking at making approx 50 web 2.0s with 250 spun articles spread throughout them.

Do you think this is too risky to do for a local seo client? Or am i better off keeping spun content for tier three?

    Any help appreciated.

I think that you should use only bookmarks, wikis, blogcomments and forum profiles for tier 2 and 3.

Using spun content to link to the good content can decrease the power of your tier 1 links on the next Penguin refresh.

But that is just my opinion.

Personally i'd only use unique content, but thats what i do for my own sites. spun content for me is a no-go area now, with the recent updates and probably more updates coming in the future.

I've seen better serp increases using unique content on web 2.0's then i have with using spun content. I usually write 1000+ word articles which include pictures (3) and a couple of related videos, which i then use high pr blog comments, wiki links, bookmarks etc.. and seen huge boost in serp movements all the time.

yes you can use spun content as tire 3, but REMEMBER this must be human readable and uniqueness must me more than 60%..
blast some good authority link eg.edu link etc. is important when you use low quality content on any web 2.0

this the basic of SEO v2.0.1.2

Spun content is not inherently bad.

Content that reads terribly or is duplicate is bad.

So as a result you should use content that reads well and is unique. You can do that with unique content. You can also do that with high quality spinning.

    Spun content works.
If your niche is a broader one like "diet pills" etc then you need to have a very ultra spun article.
But if your niche is small like product review. Spun content is more than enough.
    That't my take.

So its safe to say that i should not use spun content until tier three and it should be over 60% unique and human readable?
How can i complete tier two a bit faster, i do not want to hand write 250 articles

Spun content is really cutting it close in my opinion. I am using unique content right now and they work fine.
