I have 2 ebay accounts, 1 which I do legit sales and another which I am now trying to see how many stupid people are on ebay.

I am selling currency in a video game, If you put it up as saying "Selling WoW gold" it wont let you sell, but I say Selling WoW Sword from 200gold.

These people think it is actually 200gold because they know most people that sell will put gold in the name but can't directly say it is 200gold being sold.

My wow name is 200gold and they are getting a cheap sword from my account 200gold

I know they can file a dispute about item never shipping and saying they never recieved but hey, I am selling what is described.

Tell me what you guys think about this

Funny as hell, but expect to be buried in a tsunami of reversals and neg reps on ebay.

Also, in before the moralists who'll call you all sorts of crook and neg rep you here as they're trying to pretend that whatever they got up to is somehow better :p

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. As for the question in your title: Yeah, scam, but I don't have much sympathy for people who don't read - as long as you do put the real facts in your description somewhere!

yeah you cant get a dispute filed against you, how ever paypal will close your account if you have enough cases open against you atleast that what happen to my friend.About 2 years ago he was scamming people out of ffxi accounts selling like 1 account to 4 people so he had transfers of money coming from 4 people but only 1 person was actually getting the account well long story short paypal said they didnt want to do business with him froze his money on the account to this day i suppose his money is still in limbo. Be careful.

I guess you will know soon if it is a scam as people will complain and your account will get closed.

I think bringing people to your listing that way is cool as long as you tell them in the description what you are selling or even contacting them to clarify.

I think this is part of being a black hatter, bringing people to the product in many "unorthodox" ways but as long as when they buy it they know what they are buying and getting the product.
