A month or so ago I was messing around on micro niche finder and found 6 decent keywords that I though had low competition and good search volume. They would all be product review sites with amazon aff links to monetize, I bought 6 different domains.

Anyways I used micro niche finder and google keyword tool to find all 6 keywords fell into the 8-12,000 local searches month. Now today I was searching them a bit more and see google changed up there whole keyword tool and now all 6 of my keywords are under 1,000 seaches a month, one even says its 180/month. Whats going on here, which "tool" should I believe and would you put the time into ranking for these keywords. Competition is fairly easy, but it would still take time/money to get to number #1. Thoughts?

get market samurai and take a look at how many clicks you would get by being on #1.

If it sounds juicy, go for it.

Else just give me the keywords and I´ll do this myself =D

So I just got MS and gave this a try, and the numbers are way higher than MNF and google keyword. For searches a day it shows 596 and max clicks at 295. How is this even possible, 596 a day puts this search term at 17850/month, MNF shows 12100 and google 880. I have no idea what data to use.

build out a couple of the sites as side sites. I would fully outsource these ones and concentrate on a diffrent niche that you know has great search volume. Can't go wrong with that and you will profit either way.

A lot of the numbers on the Google keyword dropped awhile ago. They changed the way they were figuring the numbers.

If your search numbers look to low to make enough money on try and find some related keywords to add to the sites. I do it all the time, find maybe 10 related low search terms and put them all on the same site. A page for each one. Separately they are not really enough to base a site on but put them together and you can make a fair amount of money.
