So I message one admin, one mod, and none of them replied back... I'm wondering if perhaps the fellow BHW members can help me out? I paid for a service (bought from here). On their page it says that they will boost the SERPs rankings. Pretty much your standard sales page, blackhat seo, etc. nothing out of the ordinary. good reviews, etc.

It has been.. a month? give/take.
And the keyword I want to rank my sitefor isn't in the top 100 Google pages :S

    ... Should I ask for a refund?

I don't really want to post on their thread because it might hurt their rep.
I don't want to do that :/ I rather solve it here, and if I am right, and I should get a refund, I'll take it further (through PMs of course).

Did they promise a SERP boost in a specific page/spot?

They did, it says "BOOST YOUR SERP" right on their sales page.
But then after it was done, I messaged that person and after a back and forth they said, "We charge for volume of work done, not for ranking." - Which kinda threw me off a bit because in sales page they have promised that.

THEN, I wen ton their sales page, and at the bottom it says, "Refund Policy: We charge for volume of work done, not for ranking." But the thing is that the text is in a different font, almost as if it was 'updated' after I had talked to the person. On top of that, I can't remember it being there before. I then PMed one admin/mod saying if they can check the date the sales page was updated last, maybe the person added it right away, and they didn't reply back to me.

Just give an honest review, saying your rankings before and after.

There may be other issues apart from their service hindering your site.

Well my site is indexed... but its not in google top1000 :/ I don't want to say "this didn't work" as a review, it'll hurt his rep I'm sure.

If he didn't deliver what he promised, he deserves it.

Depends on what the keyword is.

if the competition is not really alot you should ask for a refund or write a honest review.

Nothing was stated as far as "competition" on the sales page.
And I would like to believe that even the toughest keywords should appear in the top1000 pages...

    Sorry, talked to who?

I PMed one admin and one mod, both of them didn't reply back to me.
I then talked over to the person who has finished my task, and he said in his PM that you know.... there is a no refund policy if it doesn't increase your SERPs

    Hey SpellZ,

I think it's only fair to share your experience on their BST.It can prevent more members from losing their hard earned cash on something that potentially doesn't work.

Contact them and ask them to update you on the progress... Ask them questions, ask them to send you some sort of reports if nothing else.
If they reply back with a satisfactory answer to your questions, give them some more time... if they don't, chargeback and get your money back.

1 month is probably not enough time to see some SERP movements if your site is in a competitive niche but it is enough for them to at least create some links to your site and send you some reports so you can rest assured knowing that they are working on your site.

    You got your answer.

I think you should write an honest review. Maybe you can show the review to the seller before you post and listen what he has to say about it.
