According to the Italian site Repbblica (in Italian which I don't speak or read :D) :

    Code:

    The New York Times article:

The question is would people actually pay to read the news?

I know a last month I got a survey (three times) when I visited ABCNews about if I pay for online news or would be willing to pay (and if yes, how much).

Personally, I wouldn't mind paying for news if 1)I'm not bombarded with ads and 2)The news is well reported.

    I haven't found a news site I'm willing to pay for.

Buzzing. There's a ton of webpages that gives you real-time news. Why would I choose G's when I could choose all others...? D'oh?
G doesnt have the brand loyalty as Apple does.
