I want to start a video site but basically the domain i'm thinking of includes a curse word...

Now the only thing thats stopping me is because maybe people cant access the site at work or religious people not want to type in domain.

    What do you think?

I own watchingshit.com, hosted offshore :p intended to put streaming MOVIES up on there, but might make it a normal youtube feed site ;)

If they're illegally watching movies online, I don't think they care if the domain si "inappropriate". I wouldn't worry about it if it's a really good domain.

I don't think too many people would care about a curse word in the URL if the site is quality. Just like most other sites you're going to be picking a demographic. I'd say teens and young adults are most likely to use video sites, and are probably the least likely to care about swear words.

I assume there is a certain reason you want a curse word in the title... perhaps it relates to the videos you're going to be showing. If this is the case, then the same people that find the URL offensive will also find the content offensive - so really it won't matter either way.
