I've just found this and I'm drawn to it because of the low PR & Backlinks to page(although everything eles is very high). Number 1 and 2 are both Amazon links and none of the others have the keyword in the domain, just in the URL as a post/article title

Do you think I could rank for this 4 word longtail if I throw up an optimised domain and content and if so how long/ how many backlinks (roughly) would I need? Building over 61 shouldn't take too long.

Would I need to match the backlinks to domain?

These high aged, high backlinks to domain, low PR, low backlinks to page keywords have always thrown me and I thought I'd ask to confirm my suspicion as to whther this is far too competitive or not.

This is wrongly stated question. We do not know your SEO abilities and skills. You should know it for yourself if you are able to get 1st spot and earn money on it.

I would say my SEO ability in comparison to most people on BHW is still quite basic as I'm still in a learning phase hence the question.

What I'm a little unsure of is when I come across these low PR + low BLP V's high BLD + High Domain Age keywords how much do I need to do/ how long roughly would it take for me to get a top 3 - top 1 ranking.

I know how to build my site to get my site achieving all red Y's for the onpage side of MS results but with the above I feel I need help.

    regards,
    Stu.

in addition I know I could build more than the 61 BLP's to page quite quickly and I would go for low PR 0-1 backlinks to begin with then hit my site with some higher PR in a couple of weeks time.

But is this enough for this particular keyword to snap up a top listing?

It all depends on your SEO skillz and how much time you have on your hands

Domain age isn't a huge factor and on site SEO helps and should always be high priority when you are building a site for high serp. You should do an auto blog type to keep the IC rising and the new content hitting your page because google likes new content. Build targeted anchor backlinks as much as possible. On a new page, just start slow with backlinks and when you hit the top 100 for your keyword, focus more on the backlinks.

If you can't get to number 1 after about 6 months, then keep at it but you can always sell your domain if the search phrase gets good traffic and your PR is good.

I agree with some of the others It really depends on your risk tolerance and how much time you are willing to spend chasing that keyword. If you need fast money then I would say pass on it and go for the low hanging fruit. But if you are not in a bind for cash than I would set it up and develop it. But be aware that it may take you sometime. Also plan ahead how you are going to monetize that keyword, all high traffic keywords are not necessarily money makers. That's just my opinion.

I'm mostly looking for clarity for what these kind of results mean in terms of time/work. So thanks.

I'm considering starting some autoblogs aswell after just been spending the whole afternoon reading the Twisted Autoblog method thread and watching his videos this morning.

I thought index count IC didn't have much of an affect however i thought Domain Age had a lot more weight. What about Backlinks to domain is this someting to worry about?

I know SEO is a long term game and I want to build as many of these sites as possible but this keyword is a niche I know a bit about as its a hobby of mine. It has some high cost products for real enthusiasts when I start targeting specific brand keywords.

This keyword is generic for the product type then I was going to LSI the catgeories with specific brand, review and general info keywords on specific products from a number of different vendors, each of these vendors been a category.
