I?ve been talking to this lady back and forth for 3-4 days now. I met her on ebay. As she was a 15k+ sales powerseller, I was interested in seeing if she?d like to wholesale her product to me. After a few emails, she told me about an up and coming company on the internet similar to Groupon, except for smaller towns and it?s going to eventually be international. If I were to join now, I?d be in the top tiers of the company, since it?s only opened since November 1st. I got all excited, and then I realized it sounded kinda fishy?

They are working on their website and replicated affiliate websites, so she hasn?t shown them to me.

I have to attend a webinar tomorrow before I can ?sign up?

Here?s the kicker. I asked how much it costs tonight, and she said there?s 3 tiers, based on what people wanted to make. Since she didn?t say how much it was, I?m assuming there?s money involved.

Would you even bother? What if this is the next $24B Groupon clone?or does it just sound like a scam to you?

Yeah, she just emailed me back. "Since this is a business, there's always money involved". The lowest tier is $30. /sigh

Its a scam, its just like a MLM. They will make most of there money getting people to join and pay money. And that money goes towards their profits. How much is the highest tier?

She didn't tell me. She just told me that the lowest tier is $30, and she "doesn't recommend that one at all".

Sounds more like an Amway clone than a Groupon clone.

It does the "deep discount coupons" with businesses and such. It was explained like Groupon.

My business partner said I should just go to the webinar tomorrow and just LISTEN and not act on anything yet. We'll see what happens.

It's a crock of shit. A groupon clone site that is only taking off now has no fucking hope. Do you have any idea how many clone sites like that are out there now ? Too many, thats how many.

Stay away. I'm sometimes amazed how people like that woman that made 15k selling stuff on ebay that is a hardcore business still have a mind of a child.

If the Webinar is free I think it'd be worth sitting in on. You never know what info you might pick up. I'd be skeptical about the whole Tier system though. Like before stated, there are ALOT of Groupon's out there now.

Yeah, I don't even know if I'll attend now. I'm pretty skeptical at this point.

well, if MLM does not ring any bells, crock of shit should ring the "stay the fuck away" bell and you're still just a bit skeptical? couple of us already advised you to stay away, you're waiting for the one who says just go and happily pay the fee? why did you opened this thread in the first place?

you'd better to spend this money on your wholesaler business/donate it than throwing it away on MLM webinars

    Why ?

    I think it's a great model!
Instead getting money for your referrals only, your also get money for their referrals too! :D
(smaller amount than for your leeds indeed, but still better than nothing)

No, That was my way of saying I wasn't interested anymore. Sometimes I'm a little more subtle than I intend to be.

She finally did send me a link to her site. Definitely not interested, and it didn't appear to be anything like what she was claiming it to be.
