Hello,

I'm just putting this question out there. I am confident that there are programs that people can use to automate most of the task for getting friends on their YouTube videos and getting subscribers and such, but..

Would you be interested in such a service?

Why or Why Not?

What would you want to see in it? What would you like to Not see in it?

Thanks so much for your opinions!

Does having lots of friends and subscribers make a difference in how many views you get? Would it help you in search rankings? If yes, then I would be interested, for sure.

Not really. They are factors that are checked if you want to become a YouTube partner.
Subscribers receive automaticly an update on their news feed when you upload a video.
But subscribers and friends can get messages you post on your channel ("share new bulletin" or something like that) on their main page (news feed).

If you have 50000 friends, a bulletin will put itself on the main page of your 50000 friends that is visible (you can attach a video with your bulletin if you want to).
-> more views, more ratings, more favorites, then higher rank in search engines.

I might be interested in it, depends if you can get designated subscribers who might be interested in my videos. If it's just to get a high number of subscribers then it's not really my cup of tea

Thanks for the replies guys.

Yes, as someone has pointed out - the one main benefit I can think of is the ability to post a bulletin to all of your friends and subscribers with the click of the button. You simply write in your message, or post your video, and all of them will receive the link/message you posted.

The only problem is, it can be hard to get a lot of people to be your friend, due to the delays YT has put in place, so you can only really ADD about 30 people per hour, and then from there it depends on how many will accept you.

The good thing is, the friends/subscribers are fairly tageted. They are added on the basis of searching for them by a certain keyword. So, if you are into "World of Warcraft" I can search for that keyword, and add people based on that - and the subscribers you get will also obviously be interested in that niche.
