Since my main traffic source has died out (YouTube), I've been desperately looking around and researching other sources of traffic my competitors are using.

Ive been stumbling upon a lot of blogspot pages, many of them are just full of spammy links, no comments, very plain page but ranked highly in Google.

My question is how effective would it be to create like 100 low quality, 1 page blogspot blogs?

For example, say I am promoting a 'work from home' affiliate link.

And then I make lots of blogs like workathomemoms.blogspot.com learnhowtomakemoneyasstayathomemom.blogspot etc....

If these are all filled up with same/similar paragraph of text with an affiliate link, would it be possible to rank these pages and get a decent amount of traffic? Or would these be like impossible to rank?

Why do you think it may only work short term? Why not the long run?

Do not bother, every blogspot that I have used and then spent the time ranking has been deleted because they HATE affiliate links.

Anything can rank, the question is how long would it stay at the top.

Erm I have a question for you, why not change what you're doing on YouTube? There is tons of traffic still on there and it's not hard to get. Why change from what you know?

it CAN work.. but google likes random banning for any type of site that tries to make money...

I would think it is better to grab a couple higher quality sites then a ton of crap ones.

if your niche is work from home

rather than 100 single page blogs have a 100 page blog.

rank each page as you would a single page site but have the added juice of the interlinking high ranking posts.

ive not personally tried aff links on blogger but i have heard others using various cloaking techniques with some success

I was not aware that Blogger banned for affilate links. ive seen lots of spammy websites, always thought they were more lenient.

I have already made a few blogspot since this post, will see how it goes.

I'm curious why no one have told you this is a bad idea, SO here it comes: This is a BAD idea mate, and it will not work out as you think.

Eveything can rank in Google, just gotta get those backlinks. The question is why you wan't 100 crap pages, when you can build 1 strong authority domain and write about eveything in that particually niche.

You will still need to build backlinks.
Also low quality blogspot pages often gets deleted especially if their main purpose is for affiliate links.

SEO is all about quality if you are looking for long term results... You can even try Social Media Websites to promote your website...
