i would like to ask if there could possibly be a 100% CTR.

as far as i understand, the cj code include a <img> tag which i think they use it to track the impression.

however, i have never use the <img> tag and has a CTR of 40% or more but never less than that.

if i don't use the <img> at all, how does cj track the impression?
i should logically have a 100% ctr and i was thinking that is why epn do not have impression but only clicks.

if i have a 100% ctr, will cj actually think that i have done anything funny and ban me from the stories i have heard ??

any idea?

i believe they'll definitely get suspicious and make an "investigation" which will include asking you what exactly you are doing....if you can convince them that you "should logically have a 100% ctr" then you are fine...they wont just ban you rightaway...

but what is it that gets you 100% CTR?!

because i don't have any impression at all.

as i don't use the <img> tag at all which is the way i know that they can track impression.
in fact, i'm surprise that they still have the impression figure for my account.

i might be wrong, so looking to see if anyone knows how they can track impression without the <img> tag

I've never had a problem and I've been a CJ affiliate for a little over a year.

Just checked my numbers for this month and currently, my CTR is 124%.

CJ understands that we promote through a million different methods. In my experience, the things that matter most is what your conversion rate is and what your EPC works out to be.

Sometimes advertisers deactivate publishers with low EPC because it drags their own rankings down in the network.

It certainly is possible that you'll get the question about your CTR, but if you've got a legitimate answer, you'll probably be okay.

What do you recommend as a legitimate answer, could you say you advertise via text links and email? Is that a valid answer? I should maybe check if it's retailer-specific.

100% CTR is nothing to worry about, you don't have to put impressions pixel on your website

I redirect traffic from text links in emails through tracking links on my server where I record parameters and embed SID values.

I do it all with PHP header redirects so that the visitors don't have to sit while a page loads.

PHP header redirects don't allow for images to load - so that's why I don't show images.

If anyone asked me why I had a high CTR, that's what I'd tell 'em.

If you have no impressions tags, and are registering 0 impressions but only clicks. They will definitely investigate whats going on, but I've done this for years with no issues. They might ask you to explain your marketing methods from time to time.
