Hi, I was wondering, would it hurt a lot if you blast a new article on your main website with (let's face it) low quality backlinks from SB ?

I just wanted to try that. Blast mywebsite.com/article/articleX.html . The question is : will this action put the whole site in danger, or not?

    Thanks for your kind advice...

Honestly, if you care about your site you won't randomly blast it with SB. I stopped using SB for comment spamming over a year ago.

Comments are just not that effective anymore. The only time I even use comments is to increase my anchor diversity and even then I try to do it on niche related sites or high PR pages with low OBLs.

Yes. Mass spam links directly to money site pages doesn't work any more and will do you more damage than good, in my opinion.

Do not do it, comment backlinks have been severely devalued and creating a massive spike of backlinks is a huge red flag that you are trying to manipulate the rankings. Quality all the time.

I would never blast Scrapebox comments at your main site, even if its an inner page/URL.

It will probably do more harm than any good at all.

I think you got the point ;)

These days especially Scrapebox AA blasts are completely toxic. Doesn't matter if it's your homepage or your inner urls.

Haha yes I think the point has been made this isn't a good idea ;) some high quality web 2.0 contextual links and social signals are a better and safer option for some initial linking to your new article.

Simply use scrapebox comments to index your lower tier links. Obviously you wouldn't want to point them straight to your own site.

Create 8-10 web 2.0 properties with articles related to your niche and blast them if you want to blast something :)
