I found it on google. Can I use it or do I have to figure out who owns it and contact them?
Lol Topanga. And I'm sure you could probably use it without any problems, people use images all the time they don't own the rights to use, or have the "official" rights to use. If you're website or whatever starts getting any real traffic though you could run into problems.
c'mon if google can use it, you can use it too - just write below the image where it is from to be secure.
that's my girl.. you should give me royalties..
Yeah she is. And wearing a Bears jersey at that..
You would not be any trouble. Maximum, you will be contacted by the owner and asked to put it down(probability-1%). Compare the risk and the benefits and make a decision.
there will be no problem , You can use it well there are unlimited members they are using it......
boy meets world?
It's a very old photo, so, I guess there's nothing wrong if you won't be able to put credits below the picture. However, if the website came from a photography site or a big company, then, you should credit them for it.
Feel free to use it, I'm sure you're not the only one who is using it.
While this may be a good method, the pictures it yields are completely unrelated to the keyword (in a lot of cases). A lot of webmasters just steal images from Google images and call it a day -- I used to do the exact same thing for all my sites. Recently however, I decided that creating my own personal images was a much better idea and gave a more unique feel to my websites. On top of that, I don't have to worry about any copyright issues; so although it may be a little bit of extra work for me, I know at the end of the day I'll have no chances of any issues in the future.
