    Hey,

I have this website (tv [dot] blogfreestuff [dot] info) would hostgator possibly ban me for having such a website ?

Also it's running on a few cron-jobs that take a lot of CPU would that be a problem.

Am planning to run on the hosting plan for unlimited websites and host this plus a few other websites and blogs.

    Regards, Ruler0fAll

I think they would notify you if they have a problem with the load. I had been running my autoblogs with them before I got my own VPS. If the resources go too high, their servers automatically kill the process, or suspend it so that the server or sites dont go down. But if it happens often or goes beyond a specific limit, they might ban your site and send you a mail I guess.

The script runs about 12-14 times a day and I think it takes about half an hour to complete with full cpu load, Dunno for sure.

if you start dogging them with heavy cron jobs or tax the server they will shut you down and it will be for using your allotment of resources or something like that. Its been done before so be prepared for it.

It's running for 4 days now and the cron jobs seem to finish in 7 seconds so no problems :D
