so i was reading this thread: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/youtube/513696-youtube-changed-game.html

and it got me thinking- if google discovered a video of mine had botted views would they disable an adsense account because of it yet still leave the video up??

I ask because i have both an adsense account and a youtube account. my adsense was disabled, my youtube monetization was removed, but yet all my videos are still up.

the fact that the videos are still up leads me to think my adsense account was disabled for other reasons because surely if it was because of botted views my videos wouldve been removed too right?

    thoughts?

They only care about invalid clicks. And yes, videos stay up.

That thread you mentioned has nothing to do with botted views.

There's no evidence that Youtube has deleted a video because it has botted views; the above was nothing but an Adwords Exploit and they decided to pull the plug even on the innocent (those who promoted their videos legitimately through Adwords).

And thus your videos shall remain.

They had the video view count going down, but if you have ads on your videos they may disable Monetization on that accountaccount
