Worth buying this site?

Haven't checked since I'm on my phone but the first 2 results are amazon, that's a sign that comp is lowish, isn't it?
The price is good considering the income.
Smells a bit fishy to me. How old is the site and have you verified the traffic sources?
My advice to you is to buy it only if you are 100% sure that traffic is legit and not short lived.

check the competition and decide... after the last panda update EMD sites are ranking high in less effort
The site is 2+ years old. It's also archived on archive.org which is good isn't it ?
I'm 99% sure that he isnt a scammer btw.
It's a weird on to be honest.
The EMD is a product, but on the site there's just a little bit of content (not much at all with a few keywords being used)
Edit - you'd think it's a site that sells products but there's just a bit of content basically (don't think what I said above answered your question ha)
But if it's ranking on page 1 for a term that's searched 14k times a month with little content, surely I can make more by adding more content ?

Yes it is not always a bad sign that it has little content. I have some sites which I put little content and dropped a few backlinks and I have stayed on position 1-5 for over a year already. It makes me very steady money and I don't think it will ever drop off page 1. Does the site have backlinks to it?

Yes it does, from around 30 diff domains although I think the seller owns most of the sites it has backlinks from.

This is a problem. If the seller removes the links, you will lose the rankings. Many people do this as a scam. If I own 100 power domains, I give links to give a good ranking on a site. Then I sell the site, and remove the links and start over with a different website to give it good rankings.
