I am curious, why Gotch SEO, Ruan Marinho and Brian Dean? I see that you are a SEO professional. Would love to know your thoughts.

I have been watching income school - project 24 for last 2-3 days. Heres the thing I see problematic relating to their style / philosophy.
The guys are from rural Idaho , from middle of no where. There is little or nothing happening in rural Idaho. These guys are blogging about cabins, dirt bikes, campers, boats, fishing etc which are like very quirky and low competition. It's all rural America stuff. I mean NYT or WebMD etc is not gonna be writing about it. So it's easy for them to rank. So again the examples they are giving is really hard to relate to. I gotta check the sites they are reviewing of their students, are there something from urban, suburban topic? Will see.

I like the income school guys id not pay into any course though. BUT sometimes some of the videos they put out have a real gold nugget that can be applied to a few bits. They done a 30-45min video about content writing which was interesting. I've followed a method (not sure if that's the right word) and altered it to help me get to Po0 or the feature/snippet box.

Some of the examples they give are super focused and I think do work if you have enough of them BUT from what I have seen they do share real data and are fairly transparent about things. There was even a video which was basically the course in an hour without going into loads of details - prefer them being open rather than claiming to be something they are not!

Like any tool info - its down to you to apply and test.

Another thing I am trying to figure out is how to source the content. Like where to get idea, rewrite some from some source , youtube, expired articles , from my knowledge, from books, I don't know where to get the content from? I don't think these guys talk about it. That's kinda holy grail of blogging / video content . Where to source it from.
These guys clearly asks you to write first 30 post yourself (10 response , 10 staple and 10 pillar post). I agree with that point though, but again where to source content from?

When it comes to seo Brian Dean is my number one. The amount of knowledge I got from him is insane, his blog is a must read (backlinko)

They done a few videos on it I'll try and look BUT basically what they are suggesting is when you look for a topic you look in google and see what people are asking, and questions that come up and then format a post around that. They say to ignore any kind of KW tools as when it comes to answering a question "data" in terms of traffic is just not there.

If you get totally stuck start with answer the public then type one of the questions that are generated from that into google and then start your topic from that. If you are still 100% stuck send me a PM with your niche or a topic you want to write about and ill show you how to do it. No catches no money, I'm not going to steal anything I have enough to do!!

Thanks for the offer to help. I will definitely PM you if i am stuck.
I see they tell you how to find the topic, they call it making a post "hit list". the topic which is like a question is the topic for response post. But i don't think they tell you where to get the response content or content in general.

Well you then research about that topic and read up different things and combine them into an article? It helps I think if you have an interest in that subject which again is something else they promote.

Id not try and write about doing a triple heart bypass though!

So say if you search for 'red paint' you can see a question 'Why do you paint your front door red?'

So you can then google that for further questions or topic ideas. The idea is to open up things in the related searches that give you some ideas to either combine posts or to build content around. Something could be 'x shades of red to paint your door'

Thanks for the list. Can confirm Brian and Gabriel St germain so far learned a lot from those two. Will checkout later the others.

Stupid Tanner fox has come up with another stupid course called "funnel force" in which he will teach you to consistently generate 6 to 7 figure income by copy pasting his secret funnels. The sheer audacity of these guys at telling lies.
