    Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone had an extremely bad purchase on Fiverr that had negative rankings on their site.

I've got a friend who owns a company and when you type that name into google the 6th result or something is a forum post "company name can go f### themselves" and I want to knock this site down.

Does anyone have a suggestion of a gig (while the gig may have good intentions) that has given them negative rankings?

    Thanks

I remember reading a thread about someone who bought a really bad gig but can't find it.

Have you tried contacting the forum owner and asking them to edit your friends company name out of the page? Try out ranking the forum with some blog posts. Find something the forum is doing wrong, and report them to their host (such as copyright content). Hire someone to post some horrible things repeatedly in that forum thread until it gets deleted.

If the forum has some authority, you probably wont take it out of the serp rankings with some backlinks.

Really? Please explain to me how this works or is in any way true? If all it took was to create tons of links to a website using ScrapeBox would mean that people would be creating links for the competition websites to drop then in the SERPs.

Google is well aware that going by backlinks is the worst possible way to discredit a site.

Naturally if all your backlinks come from junk sites with tons of garbage and spyware then yes, in that case this would possibly drop a websites ranking but that's only if a majority of the backlinks come from scam sites.
