Work day job for an Digital Marketing Agency - Want to leverage and do my own thing

Hi All - I've been checking out this site for a while looking for tips for my SEO/PPC clients for my day job. I dug a little deeper and found a ton of information and some awesome success stories. I especially liked reading about peoples journeys and their ups and downs and how they deal with them. I've read a lot more failures than successes and I know this takes a lot of hard work/dedication. Still, I've always had an independent nature (did short sales for a while and a few other small businesses) and I just bought my 2 domains. I was thinking of using one as a blog type site and one e-commerce. I think I'll start out with drop shipping and see where things go.


Also, I have access to a lot of data and tools from my work. Just kicking the tires on how I could possibly leverage that... ideas/suggestions/all that are welcomed.

Well you already seem to have a plan.

I would make one site a blog of some sort and the other a e-commerce and maybe rank it with the tools you have.

Seems simple enough if you know how to rank a website.

If you have idea and plan than I would suggest you to take action immediately.

Draw a proper whole plan, divide it in months than in week and in days and start working on it.

FIX TIME FRAME FOR EVERY STEPS.
