I have a wordpress.org site hosted on GoDaddy and I am wondering if there is a way to turn a subdomain into a new blog. I have a bunch of content that I want to make availible to registered users only and there is enough of it that I would like to post it into a new blog.

    website.com <-----main blog
    related.website.com <------secondary blog

Is there a way to do this?

Also: Is there a way to password protect posts so that they show up in the homepage list (previews), but if you click on it, it will not open unless you are a member of the site or have a password?

try wp subdomains plugin, it creates subdomains from categories, so you dont need to install another wp, but you can use another theme for subdomains.

    Code:
    webdev.casualgenius.com/category/wp-subdomains/
