Wordpress Sidebars Problem

I'm using thesis 1.8 with 2 text sidebars on the home page (front page), Then I added another page which looks exactly the same as the home page and deleted the sidebars content to add new content, and the sidebar content on my front page got deleted too. Is there a way to fix this -- to have the sidebars on additional pages independent of the home page. I'm a newbie with wordpress and thesis, so please write in detail. Thanks.

Not 100% sure on this, however, the sidebards in the thesis menu appear on every page.Go to the plug-ins tab on your dashboard and click add new. Then search for plugins dealing with custom sidebars or seperate/individual pages. Read the descriptions. Hope this helps.
