    hello
i want to ask suppose i make a site targetting main keyword (with EMD) and 3-4 secondary keywords and decide to have a total of 4-5 articles on my site/blog then what format shud i follow ?

    1. have a long article targetting the main keyword and have short descrips about secondary keywords and then link to them

    2. long excerpts on homepage..all 5 full articles..i see many micro ncieh sites do like this but does ths create a dup content prob since same content is at homepage and also at .com/post/ but sites rank fairly well using this

    3. i have one full long 1000 word article and have secondary keywords inserted in article and link to other pages ?

PS - shud i also link all the 4-5 articles in sidebar

which method will give max link juice and is a better strategy if we r talking only about on page seo..? thanks in advance :D

I remember wondering about this also. I would be interested to know whether some people have views on it.

I have heard people say that not having a static page is better for SEO because the content keeps changing so spiders will be aware of it more but not so sure how true this is.

I'd like to get some feedback on this as well since right now I do static homepage on main keyword that is the EMD and then 5-7 posts on related keywords. I list all posts on homepage and link from each post to homepage with post keyword and also link to homepage with homepage keyword from each post.

It seem this had been working for a while, but with the recent Panda hits many of my #1 ranking sites took a dive. I still don't know it is related to onpage SEO or offpage SEO that dropped my sites. I had 500 word articles on homepage and 300 word articles for internal posts.

It could be that either I didn't update these sites (let them sit with no new content for like 6 months) with new content or no new backlinks in the same time frame. Or the type of links I had built were devalued though I had used articles, blog comments, profile links, socialbookmark, etc. Some of my sites just dropped like crazy from top 3 to page 15 and these sites are like 3 years old.

Still trying to figure what went wrong. Any feedback guys?
