Wordpress Press Site Indexing Duration

I have a Wordpress web site .that is already indexed by Google .so I made few modification to my web site, changing default permanent links so on.So how long it takes to index my new modification to Google index again? and Is there any way to inform to Google about my new modifaction.like pinging sth.Help???

it can take a while.., try to ping... (search for "pingler") but if you have the automatic ping activated in wordpress, you dont have to do anything.
