    Hey,

I've been putting up Azn sites using posts but I wondered if pages would be better because they look less like blogs and more like minisites.

I know posts get pinged which probably helps with initial exposure and indexing.

Anyone have any thoughts on the whole blog v minisite thing? Conversion rates is the thought behind the question.

if you want the pages to stay basically the same, then yes, go with pages instead of blog posts. if you're making a store then there's no reason to have new posts all the time

As far as conversion goes, that is really gonna come down to your theme/layout/other factors/etc, and not whether you're using pages and/or posts.

I've used both ways on several different types of sites, and never reallly noticed much difference (ranking-wise). I noticed that blog posts did seem to get indexed quicker than pages in my experience, but that may not even be true.:)
