    Hi guys, I'm about to buy a domain name, and get some hosting with bigbluehost.com

    Has anyone got any thought on this company? it's 3.95 per month I think. I can buy my domain name there too. They seem legit enough, just wondering if anyone has delt with them personally and had a good experience.

    I basically wanna make a blog/site geared towards something, maybe dating, and fill it with like 30-40 posts/pages on dating, then use that blog/site to get into cpa companies with.

    I wanna make each blogpost/site page redirect to a CPA offer so it looks like they came to my site and then went to the cpa offer. That way I can just send my blackhat methods of traffic go to a website, offer something in exchange for doing the offer, link that to my bog/site pages that are redircting. So I should have my ass covered.

    should I make a blog or a site?

    I understand I can make a php script with wp plugin, I've never used it though, wordpress or a plugin, or php redirects, I'm giving it a try.

    I think you can do what you are thinging of doing with a free WP plugin called Page Links To. You can make posts link to any page. So if you name a post "News," and somebody clicked on that post, it'd redirect them to somewhere else.

    I hope this helps,

    Figgity

    Can't speak for bigblue, I use hostgator mostly. Just to be certain the have cpanel and fantastico (they probably do), that makes installing WP just a couple of clicks. So a search here for Wordpress plugins, they REALLY do help a lot... As for redirects, you can try the plub that figgity mentioned, or just link to a PHP using a small bit of PHP reirect code.

    Code:
    <?php
    header( 'Location: http://www.yoursite.com/new_page.html' ) ;
    ?>
    DO NOT put anything else on that page, ONLY the code above. DO NOT try to past it into a wordpress page, this would need to be a separate page completely.

    For that amount you can only host one domain.
    If you really get the hang of this you'll soon be expanding your domains.

    I would look around for a better deal with more room for domains. This might be a little more expensive but won't restrict you in the future on expanding.

    Just check some threads here on BHW for hosting experiences.

    Wow, yeah.... $3.95 for one domain would really suck.

    I am paying like $6.99/month to host ALL my sites.
    But... Am I the only one that uses Godaddy? I dunno anyone else here at BHW that uses them. lol
