I need some help with wordpress. I have 3 pages... home, about, and test currently. All the things that i post are in home, but i want to post different things on the page test. How do i do this? I've been fiddling with categories but it doesnt seem to work.

Sounds like you're making 'posts' rather than 'pages'. Posts have categories and are aggregated on one page; the blog feed. Pages are separate. Torrent 'the wordpress bible'.

Well i have 3 tabs on my top navigation. First is Home, then About, then Testing. All the posts that i do go into Home, but i want certain posts that i make to go into Testing. Not sure if we are both on the same page or not.

We aren't because I can't see what you're trying to do. Now it sounds like you want to make a specific page... 'testing', as a blog feed with certain posts? Yes, this is where categories comes into play. Do this:

    1) Delete the page 'testing'. You don't need it.
    2) Create a new category with the name you would like it to appear as on the menu (like 'blog', 'news', etc.).
    3) Make sure each post you want on this feed has been checked as being a member of that category (go to the post -> check the category.
    4. Add the CATEGORY to the menu.

    Should work now.

Yeah that's what I've been trying to do but it's not working. According to my theme and I'm sure its the same with other ones, every time i create a new page a new tab is created. The top navigation place under the header has "Home" and "About". I added "Testing" and wanted to see if i can post in that section. I tried doing what you said but it doesn't create any tabs up at the top by "Home" and "About"
