I am using bidvertiser for ads on my website, but I just noticed that if mobile users browse my site they will be automatically redirected to the ads homepage. This would look like i am cloaking my site with the ads which I believe will hurt my site in the eye of google. I cannot seem to find options that will do the trick.

Is there any way to remove ads for mobile users? Or prevent users from being redirected to the ads? Or bidvertiser alternative?

    thanks

    PHP Scripting ;)
One way to sort this out is to only input the ad codes depending on the useragent. A php or javascript function to check the username, and then output/not output the adcodes.

But first thing to check is if Bidvertiser has any option to avoid showing traffic for mobile visitors. If there is something like that already, you dont have to worry, but use that feature.

    1. Use mobile detection script and show/hide ad based on the device OR
    2. Wrap ad to div and hide it for mobile users using CSS @media screen

I would say that if you cannot find ready solution using google then you need a coder for this task. Try to find someone from hire freelancer section.

A bit off-topic here! But, does Bidvertiser is automatically redirect mobile traffic to their ads without options to disable?
If so, it a bit too much. In addition, if it's so, I think you can't prevent it with normal client side script.

CSS @media-screen is not a solution, it's just hidden or display none but not prevent redirection.

I use a paid plugin called Mobile Content. Wrap whatever code you want in the tags and it'll only fire when the device matches your selection...

I have turned off their ads already when they replied on my support ticket that they are having this issue already and they are doing their best to fix it.. LOL!

and Yes they automatically redirect it without any options... they said its on the advertisers side and they are looking into it to prevent it from happening..
