    you'll have to open up your themes files, archive.php, single.php, index.php, search.php, etc and edit the lines that have author() in them. You can refer to

    Code:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags
    to find out more info.

    As dionysus said, you will need to open the template in your WP editor. It is very easy to do. Depending on the theme you are using, some have a CMS that offers these types of options.

    If you brought a "premium" theme, then their support would give you this answer in two seconds. Try the theme support page, you are not the first person to ask this question.

    good luck

    Remove these lines from all the pages:

    <div class="date"><abbr class="published updated" title="<?php the_time('Y-m-d\TH:i:s\Z'); ?>"><?php the_time('F jS, Y') ?></abbr></div>
    <span class="vcard author">by<span class="fn"> <?php the_author() ?></span></span>

    You can use the built in theme editor on wp dashboard.
