I'm trying to get a sub menu working off of my home page. I made a second page and set it as my parent of the 1st page. Still not working? Does my template not support parent pages or am I missing a plugin or setting?

Your assumption is probably correct. Many themes do not support "child" pages (in my opinion this is a BAD oversite by the theme developer). I have looked for options (via plugin or anything else) to add a "dropdown" menu to a theme that does not support it. There are a couple available, but to me they are MUCH too hard to implement (and you usually have to manually make changes to your theme). I did actually figure out the code needed for one blog and wrote it myself.

Your best bet is to find a theme that supports dropdown menus (the various versions of FlexxTheme come to mind - not to be confused with Flexibility). There are others as well. One other thing (regarding menus) about FlexxTheme - it will also allow you to put your categories in a menu. This is something that is almost never seen and is pretty cool (I needed this for a blog once).

Another theme to check out that looks really cool is Headway. It is very flexible, but I don't know if it supports dropdown menus or not.
