I have created a website about pc tablets and looking to see if you guys can give me some suggestions on how to improve it.

I dont have the best web design skills but i am pretty happy with what i have acomplished here. Its a website that i am looking to update about once a week (if i get the time!).

The website has been up a few months now and i have had literally no hits... Hardly anything! (nothing worth noting thats for sure). I was wondering if this is down to mistakes i have made or is it simply that my content is uninteresting. I still have a few things to do (some text is still missing / needs editing) but i am getting there!

Anyway.... Any help would be appreciated :)

PCtabletpc.co.uk - (wont let me link urls??? not sure why)

the site looks really good so far. I love the look of it.

But you need to add more content and other stuff for the visitors to spend more time. etc.
Create a small poll asking them if they were buying, which tablet would they buy, to create some interactions.

Add more posts in the content section about new tablets, Hardware, software, applications, new releases etc.
And, I don't see no LIKE, SHARE, +1 buttons bellow or above the posts. Don't forget to add those too, will improve your traffic.

You can start getting some traffic using Yahoo answers. Post some questions about pc tablets, and then answer them with other accounts, and add your website link in source.

    Thank you so much Spasovski.

What a great reply! That has helped so much. I am working on content for the site as we speak. Love the idea of a poll. I will look into adding that on the front page.

Very nice site so far. I love the layout and theme.
As spasovski said though, you need more content. You need more community related aspects for your site. Create some social media type stuff. Get a twitter feed going, fanpages, and an rss feed. Do rumors for upcoming tablets. There are many things you can do, but it looks like you are well on your way.

Also, I know this isn't exactly the same as your site, but it is along the same lines.
Check out tmonews(do a google search for it). They are a very successful tmobile fanpage type of site, and I was involved a bit when they first started up. Now they are doing very well, and get tons of traffic everyday. They also have a very large community. Try and model some of your site's content with theirs.

*I am no longer affiliated in anyway with the site I listed, but I just thought it could help the op. Just don't want to get in any trouble.

The site looks really good. Have you done keyword research to make sure you're targeting the best keywords? Have you done any link building?

I agree very nice theme. I think things are layed out well. But like said add more content to the site and keep adding as time goes on also build backlinks. Reviews also help out allot. Keep up the good work and dont give up this game takes time but with hard work and dedication will pay off in the end.

The site looks good. The pc's in the URL are a little strange, but that's overlook-able. If it's worth your time, I would recommend actually reviewing all of these units (or stealing good reviews from others) and then integrating the amazon stuff in with the reviews to improve revenues. Video reviews with YT would be great if you can get your hands on any of these. You have links to some coming reviews in your main page, but I would recommend a dedicated area that highlights tablet reviews. An added bonus is that people may eventually send you tablets to review if the site gets hot enough.

pretty nice, but would like more empty space padding on the paragraph text's left side.

Thank you all for your replies so far :)

I have added lots more content (every tablet has its own review) and am working on rewriting the front page text as i recently put some more time into keyword research.

Hopefully i am on the right course! Each page has individual keywording and i only really have the "what os" page that needs work.

I have started work on building back links. Currently using yahoo answers and so forth. Looked into buying some edu links from fiver but read that you lose most backlinks you pay for after 3-4 months? Would that still be worth it?
