So I have a website, domain is about 10 years old (I think it was dropped once).. somewhat of an EMD (has a "-" in the domain)

Keyword has a $9.00 CPC, 2300 Exact Match Searches.

My site is on the 2nd page of Google for the keyword, has Adsense on it, and receives no revenue (makes sense; I don't think anyone goes past the first page).

I've been offered $110 for the site..not really sure if I should sell it. Why? Well, the sites I'm up against aren't exactly targeting that specific keyword, but their websites are extremely high authority. I've just recently got into niche sites, so I still don't know things inside out.

If a reputed member here wouldn't mind having a look and giving me their two cents, shoot me a PM.

    Thanks guys!

    Home Page:
Does your domain have any backlinks? PR? If you want to get rid of it you can put it up on auction or build a micro-niche site.

No PR; a good amount of backlinks (which is why it's on the 2nd page for it's keyword).

    Hi,

The offered price is too low especially being an aged domain despite being dropped. Are you desperate to sell the site? If not, take your time and get high PR and do follow backlinks and keep adding unique content.

    Cheers,

    i wouldnt sell it.
bring it on first page and earn.
you can flip it even after it comes on first page.
And outranking authority sites is not as tough as people believe.

$110 is too low if we look at the domain age...but when I look at the revenue, which is actually the parameter to have a look at,I think $110 is enough for a site producing $0.You can do either of these things-

    1.Sell domain only (separately)

2.Try to generate some revenue, make your Ads placements better, add amazon, try to get page 1 and the site would be Gold.

3.Have a JV,your partner will do the SEO part to get it on #1 and will get ~40% of adsense revenue.

    My 2 cents ;)
