Got a nice email from the 'the adsesne team(tm)' today saying my account has been banned. The cunts didnt even have the decency to give a personal message or a reason just some automated bullshit 'thanks for understanding' -fuck you!

So what viable alternatives are there?

By viable I mean can they potentially earn as much/more than adsense?

I remember when I began adsense ppl would say that adsesne was one of the worse/least paying monetization methods- but thats the only thing I know so far. So Im interested to know what else there is.

We have signed up to tradedoubler but putting one ad of theirs up yielded a bunch of clicks (650 clicks and not one sale) but no sales so a big fat zero for the 1st ad we tried there which isnt promising.

Seems adsense is the only ppc in town worth doing (please prove me wrong if this isnt correct) so do other things which require more of a commitment such as affiliate sales, cb etc turn out as good/better money wise than adsense?

    Suggestions?

have you got any idea why they banned you? Was the content shit? Did you use the PR blogs that everyone is getting a slap for at the moment?

You must have an idea why this happened!!

Whatever your idea is then that is probably why you go the ban, start again on a new domain and dont repeat your mistakes, i think the days of shitty content and spammy backlinks are coming to an end. (im not suggest you had both of these)

Commission Junction, Amaxon, Clickbank, CPA Networks, Infolinks are a few other ways to monetize a site... I use all of them in conjunction with adsense so as to spread out the revenue streams.

Depending on how much you were making this may or may not be a reasonable option but, open an LLC or something similar and an adsense account under that.

If you aren't making enough to justify the costs, obviously its not a good idea, but it is the safest solution to your problem.

    LOL!

It means all the other AdSense alternative will only earn you 1/5th of what you were earning with AdSense but he's wrong. It depends on the kind of traffic you have, if there is a product you can sell, you can def. make more than you did with AS.

    Oh, and check out media.net

Damn that sucks man, I would get another Adsense account from a friend/relative for future sites. Till then your stuck with Amazon, CJ and those crappy Adsense alternatives. I would not use Clickbank if I were you.

Personally, I would never use adsense on any of my sites, even if it earned double what my current sites earn.

Having single dependence on G for revenue is enough (SEO). Double dependence increases your chances of getting fucked by G massively. In addition, if you have one adsense account it's an extremely handy way for them to link all your sites together.

If you're doing SEO you have to tolerate G and their algo. However you do NOT have to tolerate adsense. It's the best ppc program going, true. I guess that's what attracts a lot of people to it - you don't have to make any SALES to get money, yet it has a huge selection of ads for almost any type of content. With CPA you don't necessarily have to make a sale but users DO have to complete an action other than a simple click, and while EPC may be higher in many cases for CPA, it can often be hard to find an offer to suit your site.

Adsense was always going to ban you. Banhammers from G is just what they do, like the sun rises and falls every day.

Nobody on BHW is going to give you the right answer. If anyone did, it would cause all the newbs to jump on it and the method wouldn't work anymore. The only way, really, is by your own trial and error. Hard work, I know, but that is the only way. See the positive in getting banned from adsense as it was always going to happen, now you can move on to more reliable ways. (Nothing is 100% stable but I would be 100 times more comfortable with commission junction than adsense)

Yeah like someone mentioned before...just get another account. Also be sure to do some research on what is getting people banned so you will know what to avoid. Especially because they did not tell you why they banned you...but just read through this forum, I am sure other people will/have shared their experiences.

Most good domain tools sites show you "sites linked to the same Adsense account" but this is hardly ever talked about on forums. Adsense is a massive footprint and linking Adsense sites together using the same account as link farms or wheels is just plain stupid. Forget server locations, IP addresses and all that - using one Adsense account on all your links sites is asking for trouble.

So, get a new Adsense account (not difficult) and use it only on your highest traffic sites. Monetize your links sites in a variety of other ways, with the emphasis on 'variety'.

What's your niche? I'm doing quite ok with TradeDoubler's pay per sale stuff. Your stats sound weird. Must be very untargeted?

If you're running WP, find a plugin that lets you rotate ads, put that in each of your adsense ad locations, load it with offers and ad copies from TD, might find good ones that convert. Lots of work, but since you have no options... :(

How much traffic do you get?

If you get a fair bit, try selling direct ads. You'll probably make more than way and you've got no chance of getting fucked by Google.

I have a number of sites where the only income is from directly selling ads and they make substantially more than I would with Adsense.

Around Christmas time Amazon can be almost as competitive as Adsense because of all the random items that people buy.

The other months of the year (while this does take work) getting people to opt into a list that sells products does work fairly well. Even though this is harder than adsense, it can pay off and you can use any offer you want (clickbank, cpa, affiliate, etc etc)

Depending upon your type of site, Amazon can work very well. It has different ad options and if you sign up to their developer program you can retrieve data easily to populate your site, make your own style of ads, etc (it requires some coding skills, but also premade modules for Wordpress and Drupal, as examples). As others have said, identify what caused the ban. It's appreciated you're upset, but they always have a reason. Good luck!

I have gone through the complete replies and not found a single reply with the best solution for adsense.

Let me tell you guys, there is another site which is paying highest even more than adsense.

    It is Bidtraffic.

You might be surprised, if it is so, then why I was not knowing this earlier. It happens, nothing to surprise about it.

I am a member there. If you find this site Bidtraffic more useful than adsense then do not forget to reput me.

I am sure, if you ask a guy who is using Bidtraffic, will be able to say you the exact thing, if it is better than Adsense or not.

I am sure the answer will be Big YES

Please ask others if you have any doubt abut bidtraffic or visit the site the see yourself the paying rates and all.

My experience with bidtraffic was once I reached $$$$ and filed a payment claim, 7search declined to pay.

On the other hand, adsense never missed a beat on payments once verified.

My solution is to get yourself old cheap working laptops and a usb internet stick for each and create multiple accounts where you assign one account exclusively to one laptop and internet. Then use your working method.

This way it won't hurt so much when an account is banned.

That's 100% right. Dope up the site with as many money-making strategies you can think of.

I use about 5 different affiliate networks, 3 are all together, 2 rotate on one spot. If either bans, I won't care too much.

I have yet to figure out why a class action lawsuit has not been filed against Google and Adsense.

Wondering about that too. I'm thinking that about this time a lawyer or a group of lawyers have already found the opportunity to sue via several complaints.
