I just noticed my site got de-indexed today. Its a 1 year old site, ZERO link building done. It ranks on first page by itself due to unique contents (paid big bucks for them).

I checked google using site:mydomain.com and nothing shows up. I checked analytics and it was all fine till yesterday, traffic completely dropped.
I thought my site got hacked but I scanned & checked, found nothing.
I thought someone might be doing neg-SEO on my site, but i checked ahrefs, majesticSEO and google webmaster tools, nothing found neither. (in fact, it has less than 200 backlinks total over the past 12 months).

I also thought someone hacked my site and done some cloaking on it. Tested by changing user-agent on my browser, found nothing. Everything seems normal.
I visited some online cloak-checking tools, and it says none detected..

At this point, I am not sure what's going on. Could it be my hosting issue?

    Please help. Thanks.

One thing I have found common is that whoever links their site to webmasters tool have a high chance of getting deindexed. I have seen this on many occasions and I am sure you had webmasters tool installed too..right?

Wait a day or so before jumping to conclusions. Could be hosting issues, could be google data center issues.

I would just wait a couple of days to see what happens.

As others have said it could be a hosting issue as well.

Mmm first you say your site has no links to it, then you say your site has around 200 links to it...

Did you build any of those links?

Sounds to me like something outside of links. Hosting issues or your website is being attacked.

Try using some social media tactics to promote your site, it'll make it look much more organic in Google's view. A powerful tool was released yesterday on BHW "web2rule", check it out its free and very useful!

I just checked with my hosting, and they said they didnt have any server issues yesterday nor today. Server was up and stable.

To be fair, I said i DID NOT do any link building to that site. I received around 200 backlinks simply because the contents were good I guess, thats why it attracted legit/whitehat backlinks to my site. And beside, 200 backlinks for a year old site with 30+ pages is quite reasonable.

How can I investigate on this? Please suggest something. I am open to ideas.

Btw, this hosting account ONLY contains that particular site. It is NOT with any other site that I own. Just so everyone knows it is not because another site got deindexed, so this one too etc.

Completely de-indexed as well? Did you find out what happened? And did you re-submit a reconsideration form or something? Thanks.

Well I suggest you build some super high pr links so google cant give you the cold shoulder. Google deindexed a few of my sites but they were new and ranking high. Then suddenly gone. Gave them great handmade links found with using scrapebox and they came back fine. Good Luck...

There has been a Google update. You are listed as "collateral damage" according to Google and they will not help you.

    Welcome to 2013 onwards

There were some large serp changes yesterday (site dissapearing and reappearing). I think g0ogle is testing something out and your site should come back if there were no messages in wmt.

Yeah they'll be testing the long awaited penguin update and I have no doubt this place will be jam packed with similar stories when that comes out.

My site is 110% whitehat and pure right now. It ranked purely because of great content and backlinks coming from real legit sites too. I've done zero manual link building on it. I am not sure if I want to start doing manual link building from here on. That might raise the suspicion?

What? How am I causing collateral damage when I did nothing on the site. With respect, did you read the OP?

    Lets hope so. Thanks

Definitely sounds strange. I have had sites drop and come back, but I usually knew why they dropped, especially with good content like you are describing. There is always the request reinclusion tool in webmasters I think. If you are already using them and don't mind an in-person review - go that route after giving it a week or so to see if it comes back by itself.
