Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. You are all such great friends and good people.

This year, I'm thankful for:

1) Living in a country which has shown, at least to some degree, that it has overcome the stigma of Black/White, and has finally showed its maturity and will to understand by electing a its first black american president. I pray that Mr. Obama Rocks The World ( and I have a good feeling that he WILL)!

2) I am also thankful for good health, good family and great friends - especially my friends/family here at BHW. As far as money goes, sure . . . we can all use more, but this is the time of year to remember what holds REAL value to us. We can all use more "gratitude in our attitude".

retire in February (YES! He EARNED it, let me tell you)
and our daughters who were beautiful children and are now

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in the Americas.
I am thankful for all I have but mostly for my son whom I had very very late in life.
For my lovely friends and all of you here on BHW ...even if I do get stuck into you every now and again.
And yes Wiz, thank god that the American people have seen the light and elected a president with a brain and a wife to match. Even in other parts of the world we wait and watch to see what changes this will bring to all. Sanity has at last prevailed and not so much ( well sort of) big dollars.

I am thankful for being born and being a part of this great country and for its first black president. Maybe now we can catch up to the rest of the world and leave that most "racist country in the world country" stigma behind us...for being the most powerful entiy in the world (at least for now), that stigma just made us look so backward and ignorant. I've been at some prestigious educational institutions and have found that some of the brightest minds with different colors and from different places...invariably when different cultures come together to focus on something greater acievements are made...kinda like the G8 conference. I think we gained a lot more global respect as from other countries when we elected Obama...now we just have to follow through. So I'd also like to thank the Wiz for not only sharing and giving so much but also making a though inspiring post...
