    Hey Blackhatters!

As many of you already know, I'm rather famous (or should I say, "infamous") on this forum for doing huge posts of downloads for everyone to grab. Granted, those are fun to do, and from what I can tell, they are fun for alot of the people here to get (especially the "noobs").

Getting free stuff is what originally attracted me to this forum, and perusing through many of the ebooks I downloaded gave me hours of intellectual pleasure and gave me a decent overview about what internet marketing was about. However, I began to notice that I was spending an awful lot of time looking for the "next great secret" - the "holy grail" that would instantly make me wealthy beyond my wildest dreams. And I was beginning to realize that I was DOING NOTHING WITH ANY OF THE IDEAS. I was just building my endless "secret vault" of amazing internet marketing ebooks, filled with ideas that sowehow I was going to implement "somewhere down the road". Well, I finally woke up and realized that I had become a "dowload junkie" and a pipe-dreamer.

Now don't get me wrong. Occasionally, I'll still take a peek at what may seem to be some fresh new ideas or approaches to Internet Marketing, but I HAVE learned to actually take one or two potentially profitable ideas and IMPLEMENT THEM - and REALLY WORK THEM. I no longer take an idea, work it for a week or two, and then move on to the next one if the previous one didn't make me rich right away. Doing it that way simply doesn't work. You need to work and refine an idea for months before you can expect to see a substantial return - all the while, learning from what does and doesn't work. It's sort of like surfing. When the board starts tipping too far forward, you move back - and when it starts tipping too far back, you move forward - constantly making adjustments. Pretty soon, you get the hang of it and become a decent surfer. Same way with Internet Marketing.

Another thimg I learned is that some of the absolute best internet marketing ideas and insights come from right here on the BHW forum. There are some amazingly experienced and knowledgeable individuals on this forum who are consistently posting invaluable information FOR FREE! . . . Listen to them and learn. Their stuff is worth far more than 99.9% of the ebooks out there. People like Harro, Nevarc, Wealthy199, Stumickel, The Lazy Pig and many more on this forum are more knowledgeable than the so-called "Gurus" who charge upword to $5,000.00 to teach you re-hashed stuff.

So, in closing, I just want to say, enjoy yourselves. Enjoy the downloads that are made available on BHW by people like myself and many others, but be aware and take an honest evaluation of yourself and then GET TO WORK and MAKE SOME MONEY.

"No sadder words from mouth or pen, are these four words, "It might have been."

Thank you for your huge download links,
my hard disk just became "fatter". :D
It is true that we have many downloaded
money-making methods lazing in our hdd,
and it is not doing us any good.

I am starting to cut-down on the downloads,
and concentrating on a few methods
    to make some serious money.
But once in a while, it is great to see
your huge download once again.

    Damn, Wiz!

You put me in some illustrious company.

I'm still at the start while these guys are well underway and soaring.

A very warm thank you. I am duly flattered without thinking there is any equivalence.

btw - Your advice is most wise...

    To Stumickel:

Whether or not you consider yourself to be on the same level as some of the people I mentioned, I still take my black hat off to you. You are generous and knowledgeable, and I have noticed and learned from your quality posts.

PS: I like your avatar. It reminds me of "Cirque du Soleil". I caught their "La Nouba" show in Orlando, Florida in 2003. Fantastic Entertainment!

Keep Those Quality Posts Coming! . . .

It has to be said (by me, if no-one else will step up to the mark) that your efforts are probably one of the great attractions of BHW.

    I salute you.

(And, if you'd only get the things I'm after... ;) )

WizGizmo! Mate, that advice some of the best stuff off the back of a truck so far :) I too am a self-confessed (now that is) download junkie. My days started way back in the Atari ST days, before the internet, and where most 'good' stuff came on the 720kb cover disks on the Atari magazines.
My 'wakeup' call came several weeks ago when I realised that my credit card wasn't keeping up with the 'latest', 'greatest' marketing stuff. I found that I was spending more than I was 'planning' to make, and the size of my overdraft told me that I needed to take stock and get marketing before it was too late.
Now I'm back with my original 1996 idea and loving every minute of it. Sure I still like to look at different ideas, and will probably search out some of the latest, greatest stuff from time to time. But focus is my main drive now. That and an adopted motto "Just do it!"

    Thanks Mate for the reminder.
    Peace to all.
