WizGizmo - Suggestion For A BHW Glossary

Hey B-Hatters!

This morning, I got a PM from a Noob who asked me, "What does the word, "Nulled" mean?" I explained it and returned the response. Then it got me to thinking about the fact that there is so much terminology spoken on BHW which is 'alien' to many individuals (especially Noobs). Terms like EPN, Chron Job, Zip Submits, PPI, CPA, PPC, PPV, Incentivized, Nulled, HTAccess, etc, etc. Admittedly, when I first came to BHW, I knew practically nothing, but after awhile, I started to pick up on most of it. Sometimes I would have to Google it or just guess at what the individuals were talking about. . . . And to this day, I still ocassionally run into terms which are not quite clear to me.

So anyway, I was thinking how great it would be if someone was to take the time to compile a Glossary of terms such as mentioned aboove. It would be a valuable contribution, and if done with care, could end up as a "Sticky".

Another approach could be a thread on which a any number of BHW members could contribute their definitions and then at the end, someone could compile all of the material into a PDF ebook.

So what do you think? . . . Any Takers

Thanks. I wasn't aware that it was posted. However, it only seems to cover the acronyms (abbreviations). It would be even cooler if was more expanded to include terms as well.

This was only a suggestion, and I realize that it would be quite a large project to make it more complete, but it would be a valuable contribution nevertheless.

I wonder if there would be a way to make a wiki*pedia type glossary? That way it could be modified, added to and evolve over time.

I like your idea Wiz as I dont even know like 1/2 the terms and it would be interesting to learn about all the aspects of blackhat. I think it would help everyone. Maybe we should start a new thread where people who know a lot about certain definitions can post info. Then it can become a sticky. A wiki sounds good too.

Looks like Black&Red has taken up the mantle. I just got done speaking with him (via PM) and he pointed me to his link. Check his link in his post above. I think maybe we are onto something. I told Black&Red to get HaRRo or Essential Clix to look at it. Yeah a wiki would be perfect. Then everyone can contribute to it. Makes it a community project. Cool Eh?
