Windows Laptop Or Mac ??

Hey, so I've been a old Windows user since long time. Now I am thinking of buying another laptop, specially for travel cause my current one has keyboard issues. I've using it like a CPU with external keyboard and mouse.

The new one I will buy should be slim, lightweight so that I can travel, for heavy performance, should be able to run 2-3 Virtual machine at one go. Currently I can run only one at onetime.

Also, one more thing, suppose I buy a mac and install windows virtual machine, and then I install anti detect browser within that VM, will it pass Pixelscan test cause I am literally creating windows browser on mac. Is anyone using here this way?

If you want to use it for Windows software it's better to have a Windows laptop.

Anti Detect Browsers have Mac version too, but I don't feel comfortable installing them on my PC due to security reason, that's why I wanna use VM. And windows VM cause it's common where as apple browser profiles are rare in general.

VMs to where? Also the configuration you said will be lightweight for travel?

For once I was thinking I will go with a macbook and then connect to my home pc through RDP when I am out but then I wouldn't be able to maximize my new laptop.

Depending on your budget I would get a Macbook Air with M chip and at least 16GB Ram. Or get a Macbook Pro 14" with M Pro chip.

I got one and its the best decision ever.

Windows is the way to go for your needs.

Mac is for people who want to code and check emails and do some light work.

I'd recommend using a Mac. Never had a need to boot up my windows partition. I use Linux for development severs / environments.

You can just buy a dedicated machine for your work. On that machine install your fav antidetect browser and forget about the VM stuff?

But if you go slim, powerful, lightweight then you're either looking at a gaming laptop (they need to be plugged in for max power output else they're super slow) or a macbook with ram over 16GB (expensive because of ram upgrades).

Keep in mind, macOS have some limits when it comes to virtual machines. Just googled out of curiosity and got mixed results where some said you can run only 1 vm at a time and then read a forum where they said it can handle only 2 VMs. So, better research on this topic yourself.

Windows is going to be the ultimate choice here. Throw decent hardware and it will keep running more and more VMs.

To of course your computer that you use for work. You will never make money if you complicate things so much. I removed all anti-detect stuff and use original chrome with popular fingerprints. There's nothing complicated in this.

Sorry but what do you mean by machine? VPS or Mini PC? VPS will be costly on the long run, that's why I rely on VM.

I have been both a windows and mac user. For security and quality mac is far better but I think windows is better on the long run. But if you plan to go with a VPS, I think Mac would fit you best.

Get a m2/m3 macbook pro and install parallels on it. That will allow you to install windows on mac. I don’t have a requirement for windows, otherwise I would have bought parallels for myself as well.

As for passing pixelscan or whatever, it should work as if it was native windows browser, since you are using the browser inside the parallels windows vm itself.

I travel a lot and I'm a power user, I use a lot of powerful software and run my laptops really hard. I was a longtime windows user then I got 24GB MacBook M2 Air. Was the best decision, I swear.

Battery lasts 2 days on one charge. It's shocking how light this thing is. Everything is snappy, windows always lagged for me. Mac just works and feels amazing to use.

Go with Mac dude you won't regret it

Yeah I mean the performance per watt is insane in the new macs. No wonder it is a battery champ.

Macbook air should do too if he doesn't have intense workload. The only thing I would worry about with intense workload is the fact that the lower end mac use a lot of swap memory when the RAM is not enough. This destroys the SSDs sooner, and they are soldered to the board so ( some crazy person actually managed to replace the SSDs, but I am sure 99% repair centers won't have an idea how to do it)..

Microsoft Surface will be nice one.

instead of installing windows on vm you can dual boot it on you MAC.

I had a job that had all macs and for the linux work I do it's a need and not a want. Macs just integrate better with linux setups. I've heard of people trying to use linux subsystem with windows but it's just not as native as a mac. My 2 cents.

mac is a good option but if anything goes wrong is difficult to get a repair windows laptop is easier to repair it anywhere in the world but boths are capable to do the job I will chose widows because the combenience to find tech shop so they can work and fix it quickly and cheap.
