Hey I'm buying a laptop tomorrow and the place I'm buying from all the laptops have windows 8. The last time I did bh marketing I was using windows 7. Are most of the bh tools like senile, twitter tools ect compatible with 8? Have there been problems since 8 is so new? Any suggestions or thoughts? Should I get a copy of 7 and and use it instead? Thnx

Hi, windows 8 is based on win 7. I think that you will not have problems with it. To be 100% sure you can contact with soft developers and ask them.
Btw - it's not good idea to use laptop for seo tools. To get best results i recommend VPS server.
GL with your seo campaigns! :)

I actually downgraded back to Win7... you can do that if you have licence to win8... I kinda miss that "start" button and all the pinned tools at the bottom.

    Win 8 = ok
    Win 7 = good
    Win xp = heaven
And lets not even mention vista

But yeah software should work on both 7&8

Maybe software should work in theory but that was not the case for me. I also downgraded to 7 from 8 because of this reason. Don't remember which software I had trouble with but it was more than one.
