No idea why this is happening, but for the last day, this is what I've been experiencing;

Sometimes (not all the time) when I restart my computer, it starts up and at least 10 devices aren't working (I check VIA device manager):

- Wireless mouse
- Wireless keyboard
- Audio/speakers
- Universal Serial Bus Controllers
- Network Adapters (can't see ANY wireless networks).

Now, I try to use the Windows Device/Hardware troubleshooter. It recognizes that none of these devices are working, and I try to "Repair", it says something like "Cannot be repaired" for all of them.

Anybody have a solution to this?

Did you install drivers for these devices? Maybe the drivers windows has are bad or not 100% compatible with your hardware.

I did when I first bought the laptop (about a month ago). Everything has been completely fine since then. I just started having this problem yesterday.

Sounds like a bios issue... maybe one of your bus controllers if faulty or not receiving enough voltage. Are you starting up your computer or waking it from sleep?

I know win7 won't boot on my desktop with my external hd or my ipod plugged in, but if I start it with them unplugged and then connect them after the hardware hooks it works fine.

I was starting my computer (restarting completely).

I definitely thought the ipod plugged in was the problem. I took it out, restarted my computer later, and same thing. I had to do a system restore for everything to work again.

Pretty confusing. Sucks because I just bought this laptop 3 weeks ago, with no warranty. :/
