My client is running a "Win £2000 of furniture" competition to get new UK users to signup to their email list.
They are running some FB & G ads to send people to the landing page.

Any other ideas how to send massive traffic to this (from the UK only) ?

I thought if you are a genuine business and give shit away people would come running?
The interest has been good but not fantastic!

    Thanks in advance guys.

Are they using sponsored stories? I would reckon they would get more interaction than the regular right side ads

I've tried this before and was lucky enough to get a Twitter and Facebook competition go viral, once people start sharing posts, re-tweeting, etc, you should see more interest in newsletter sign-ups and lots of increased traffic.

    Use other competition sharing areas.

Reddit has a ton of competition sub-reddits
Places like Tweetition and using entry fields like Rafflecopter to get social share entries + email signups.

Also IRL media is a good idea, run a free newspaper Ad or 2 and you'll get a few visits.

Try to use old offline methods as well. Like newspaper, pamphlets or organising events in ladies club.

I don't know if furniture has that compulsory appeal that other things do... like electronics.

I can tell you my first thought would be "I probably don't have the room for it".

But people always have room for electronics. It may not be possible but I'd consider changing the entire offer.
