Hello I would like to ask you guys about your opinion on a few things regarding the advertiser boycott, my income has dropped for like 80% :(

    1. do you think advertisers will come back anytime soon
    2. do you think income will get back to what it was before
    3. what is the current state it has become quiet in the media around this topic, did any advertisers come back already?
    4. why exactly is the income so low (disabled monitisation/ not enough ads/ cheap ads)?

    thanks

    1. No, I heard a lot of chatter of popular accounts leaving to vid.me for censorship(monetization) reasons

Here is one youtuber beeing there since 2007 with over 100.000 followers explaining his concerns.

    2. No. It won't, government limitations and the war on "Fake News" will drain your ad income even further

    3. No, the ad revenue model is dying. You should switch to sell your own products.

    4. The new Terms of Service implying serious restrictions and what may or may not monetized.

Hey man your right my cpm this month is even higher then last month its just then I only have 1/4 of the number of monetized plays than before.
But then again CPM wasnt the issue.

Now I am not sure why this is I only have a very few videos that got demonetized due to not advertiser friendly and those should not mattter at all I guess they have not enough ads? :(

As, I said before new Terms of Service, heavily in favour of content creators which are well known cooperations and brands. You compete with them, tough luck for you. YT will cut down your ad revenue.

I don't think vid.me will workout. Also I have started seeing more ads on videos now . I guess the ads have become cheaper ,but I'm sure YouTube will find a way around this and surely recover.

Thanks for your replies I have now found whats causing the issue for me.
I have a channel where I visualize historic events and even though the videos say monetized they are "stealth demonetized" if they have certain keywords in the title like "Battle" I hope they fix it :(
