Will you miss the feeling of power you get now when you can drive your own car on the road with other people? Will you miss the roar of an internal combustion engine as you step on the pedal? Will you miss the exciting days of Jeff Gordon racing down Talladega Superspeedway? Or the testosterone surge you get when hearing those mighty Formula One car engines? Those god damn magnificent beasts...

Loving the concept of autonomous driving. Not because I could get home drunk (getting a cab or using my bike instead) but because of the many autobahn (highway) parts which have a restricted speed limit over dozens of miles. You just get bored whilst you could check some mails or call anyone when your car does the painful parts of a journey.

It will be great, but we have to wait for another 10-15 years for that and I'm sure even after that you will still have the right to drive you own diesel car if you want. But the possibility to drink like crazy and then letting your electric car to get you home cheap is amazing. I'm gonna visit so much places and get drunk there, cant wait for that

Oh how I do pray for your livers.

I hope, if the internal combustion engine dies, and robots take over our lives, that I will at least get to live in this Will Smith movie's reality. Where the cars will still look good, and we get a choice of whether to drive our cars manually (even if the government will frown on that) or not.

Till then I shall enjoy the engine in all its glory. God bless technology.
