Will VPS Solve My Problem?

Hi, dear all.

I am fed up with my internet connection. It's just lower than 500Kbps and hardly run any scraping or article marketing campaign.

I currently have these two tools collecting dust (not literally) inside my computer without being used. Article Marketing Robot & Scrapebox.

Planning to get Xrumer soon or SENuke X, step by step.

But before actually getting this new tools, the internet connection is very problematic and my ISP is sucks, really.

So I always heard people getting a VPS and host scrapebox and other softwares there. I've tried to put AMR & SB on my office computer which have faster internet connection which is 4mbps (still) and using logmein to access it and control from home but it's just doesn't work effectively for me.

So, will VPS or a dedi solve my problems with all my SEO tools installed there?

What say the people have done this?

No my friend.
I'm in east Malaysia.
Living in quite rural private area, have to use wireless for internet connection.
That's the reason of the slow connection. Haha

im in same boat with you, in turkey we have really a shit connection also, i am using two different vps, go for a vps it will make u relax run for freedom

best to get a VPS!

off-topic: so ur download speed is 500 kbps? mine is 25-30kbps mate I am from India!

Btw, any recommendation min spec for the VPS?

What's your VPS conf?

And, one more thing, will we access the SB and AMR like we access a normal website or is it still lag like logmein but the advantage is on scrapping and posting/submitting?

Yeah, but make sure that the connection is good on your VPS as well. don't fall for the 10mbps ones

I'm windows shopping at XSserver now, but do not know what I need.

Well this would solve your problems. But since you have a slow connection it would be hard for you to communicate with the server efficiently. There will be some huge delay.

For your other question. The programs that you'll be running will require at least 512mb ram. But if you want to run all of them the same time you should get 2+Gb or ram.

I personally use ServerFlare. It really cheap compared to XSserver. I get 50mbps download/upload, testing it against speedtest. That my recommendations. Goodluck with your search.

everything will be same as your local pc. its just a windows screen you can do everything u want. so you will be able to use europe or american (changes where u buy vps) datacenters connection so u can play your seo tool story like a monster.

i advice you xsserver 1gb ram plan / 35$ monthly payment.

What if I just need to run SB and download a few torrents (it that will work), what's a good VPS package?

Yea, I wish I was living in Japan or Korea.
I have friends there, and have their own personal website hosted from home.

A VPS will definitely help, but keep in mind that you do need to use your connection to access the VPS in the first place.

VPS should really solve your problem now. Just make sure you are not on a heavily oversold crap server with everyone trying to gang rape the same 100Mbps connection. Otherwise you would be better off on your home desktop.
