According to Many: Yes because it's spam.
But to be honest, i've never seen any proof of this or tried it myself.

I would tend to say no, it does not affect your rankings.. but 60? Maybe. Make sure the links are no-follow

If you have too many links on a single page that would definitely look like a click bait and spammy. However I would suggest you to use pagination and split them into page 1 and page 2.
    Else
See if you can split up the page contents into multiple pages, each having its own different content

Imagine a 800 words articles with 60 links! This is spam.
The best thing is to stay under the radar.

    Thanks for the answers.

I would be more like a shop with each picture you click you would get redirected to the Amazon Product. But if it is considered spam then i have to get a new idea how to do that.

IDK for sure about Google, but that sounds like a site that would get your Amazon account suspended—I speak from experience.

To avoid that, you'd have to be adding a lot of 'unique and contributing' content.

Amazon sucks, for real. While very versatile and convenient, they will suspend your sh*t if they are just in a bad mood one day. Good luck getting a hold of someone to appeal.

Try looking at other marketplace affiliate programs through third parties like Overstock.com and etc.

I know there are some universal affiliate programs that will convert all deal links(include amazon) to affiliate link, like viglink and skimlinks, but they will charge 25% of your commission.

Google wants reasons to rank your site and reasons why it shouldn't.

Google say that they want to deliver sites the provide the user with the right information they were looking for and in trying to deliver that Google has to do a lot of calculations as to what that 'right' information is. Part of this is the quality score.

One way of testing the quality score of your page is to set up an AdWords ad for it but you don't have to set it live. Just set up an ad for it and choose the most targeted keywords for your ad that appear in your page. Just go for the main 2 keywords.

Google will tell you the price they want you to pay to make your ad appear as well as give you a quality score of that landing page. Make note of that quality score and bid prices.

To find out if your affiliate links are affecting the quality score of your page you should remove them and then go and check the quality score of your page again (as well as the bid prices) in your AdWords campaign.

If the quality score goes up and/or the bid prices go down then you know that the links on your page are affecting your quality score.

Now you know that Google is taking this in to account you could bet that they would also take this into account when ranking your page in their organic results.

If you want to keep the links in your page then you are going to need to hide them from Google and by that I mean stop them appearing when Google views/crawls your page. I am not talking about cloaking and having two versions of your page, I mean literally not having the links in your content when Google views your page. The only tool I know that does this http://linkninjapro.com

Good point. For me, it should be easy to hide the affiliate links from all these crawls bots. Thank you!

Make sure you have really big article, also use a lot of inner links to your own site (inner pages). This way google believes that your site has a lot of useful information about your niche.

It does impact your website ranking, try cloaking your affiliate links and see the difference.

A good rule of thumb would be - 1 affiliate url for every 100 words of content.
