Will This Work?

Alright I'm trying to make some money before my county fair starts so I have some spending money.

I want to start a website selling original articles I would write on varying topics selling them for $2 an article.

I would hold WSOs when I posted a new pack (10 articles) on a subdomain like wwwdotwhateverdotcom/wso and offer the pack at $1 an article.

Of course it'd be through Paypal and I'm a good writer. I just want to know if I'm shooting myself in the foot and wasting my time or if I get started right away and work hard if I could make a website like this work. What do you guys think?

Instead of selling articles so cheaply, why don't you throw up some micro-niche sites and use your articles to optimize for longtails... etc... Way more $$ no?
