I want to make dual screen setup, got a question if such an config will work.
I have Laptop which have the normal VGA output and as well the HDMI output.

Currently I have one 21.6' with only vga and which is already plugged in to vga output . But I want to buy another Monitor 24' and have dual-screen - the one which I'm planing to buy got hdmi support as well.

So I suppose I can do like this: put the old monitor together with vga output and the new with hdmi .

My question is: Will such an setup work and I won't need to buy any other hardware(converter or whatever) to run this setup?

So you want three screens altogether? I looked into this a while back and wasn't able to do it without getting a converter. Never got around to getting it.

Yep, had hdmi. I use a desktop with two screens, and two laptops each with two screens. I wanted to tidy it a bit. Went to a computer tech and the best he could do was add two more screens on one set up. Seems the choice is 2 or 4. I only know what he told me.

I have two monitors hooked up to one of my lap tops so it has 3 screens total right now.

All I had to do was get a USB to VGA converter. It's just like buying a graphics card basically. And very easy to setup.
